Hello %%First Name%%,

We know you're busy kicking butt and taking names so the Touchpoint Team wanted to send along a few tips and ideas for your October email marketing efforts.

October provides plenty of celebrations, but we're going to focus on two of the holidays for you to consider when creating special days and/or menus for your restaurant or establishment.
National Dessert Day
This holiday invites you to embrace the ever-appreciated dessert. Fill the day with yummy, extraordinary treats for your patrons to purchase or for your staff and/or members to enjoy and know how much you appreciate them.
Make A Difference Day
Always on the fourth Saturday in October, here is your chance to do something good for the community. Maybe all of your employees could volunteer in a cleanup, fix up, painting and repair project in the poorer communities representing your business? How about providing time to feed the poor or if you're a restaurant owner, providing food? What matters is that you participate. Make a commitment to help others for just one day. Make a difference on Make a Difference Day.
Exclaim Nothing
Avoid using all caps and excessive punctuation in your subject lines and within your email copy. Google bans punctuation from AdWords ads for a reason - too much hype can trigger spam filters and ensure your email is delivered directly into the junk folder.
